FAQ
Straight answers about LiftBud.
What works, what remains in review, and what Bud Apps is not claiming yet.
What is LiftBud?
LiftBud is a consumer-first strength training tracker from Bud Apps. It connects programs, routines, workout logging, history, and progress through one Bud account.
What can I do in the LiftBud Web Portal?
The portal supports Bud account login, programs, routines, independent set targets, the complete exercise catalogue, completed workout history, saved set detail, progress, and supported profile settings. Web workout logging is not part of this review build.
Is the web portal publicly available?
The portal is implemented for internal review. Its public browser connection still requires Bud Core to allow the approved website origins before it can be described as generally available.
Does Android and web use the same account?
Yes. Both clients use the same Bud account and Bud Core data. The website does not create a separate account database.
Is LiftBud available in an app store?
No. LiftBud Android remains in internal alpha. There is no public Google Play listing, iOS release, or announced public release date.
How are workout statistics calculated?
Portal totals use completed Bud Core sessions and canonical completed sets. Planned routine targets and incomplete work are not counted as performed training.
Can I use Google or Facebook sign-in on the website?
The portal includes official Google and Facebook browser integrations that exchange credentials with the same Bud Core account system as Android. This review build keeps those actions hidden until approved public web IDs and browser API access are configured; email/password remains the available review path.
Where is my profile image stored?
Profile images use the authenticated Bud Core image endpoint. Server filesystem storage is an internal-alpha implementation; the website never exposes the private storage path or puts access tokens in image URLs.
Can I download LiftBud Android here?
Not yet. The Android build is distributed only through the current internal-alpha process. This site does not show a dead store badge or promise a release date.
